This website is designed to introduce you to our practice team and the services we offer. We aim to provide a comprehensive general practice service whilst maintaining a personal, caring service in a relaxed, professional environment. Twyford Surgery

We currently provide a primary health care service to 12,500 patients and our list size continues to grow. As the demands on our practice have increased we have continued to look at how we can meet our patients’ needs.

The current surgery building was officially opened on September 21st 2002. We share accommodation with the Health Visitors, a Community Matron and District Nurses, employed by West Berkshire community Trust. This means a whole primary care team are based on one site. NHS physiotherapists, midwives, dieticians and stop smoking advisors also work from the practice. Diabetic eye screening and mammograms are also arranged at the surgery by the Thames Valley CSU and Wokingham CCG on rota basis.
