Named GP

You do not have to see your named GP. You can see any GP Twyford. The government has asked us to give a name GP to every patient over 75 or those in danger of requiring repeated hospital admissions. This GP is in charge of the overall care plan however you do not need to see this GP. We will endeavour to match patients up with their preferred GP as time goes on. The administration of this government scheme has caused an increased workload and therefore it is easier to bulk allocate patients and opportunistically change these.
